In an interview on Monday, Sethi stated, “I would not stop Mohammad Amir if he wants to make himself ready to play for Pakistan again.
Amir’s comeback to the national squad was backed by the newly elected PCB chair, who made that statement. A player who has acknowledged his guilt, assisted the ICC in putting an end to match-fixing and corruption, and then paid a five-year punishment for being away from cricket deserves to return, the speaker added.
