According to sources, the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) on Thursday declared that the power tariff for K-Electric customers would be reduced by Rs10.80 per unit.
The K-Electric power tariff was decreased as a result of fuel cost adjustments (FCAs) in December, according to the NEPRA’s notification.
Due to a fuel costs adjustment (FCA), K-Electric has asked NEPRA for a price reduction of Rs10.26 per unit.
According to the notification, the relief will only be in effect for one month and will not apply to lifeline users, consumers with fewer than 300 units, agricultural consumers, or electric vehicle charging stations.
