4.3 Million Digital Challans Worth Rs 1.75 Billion Issued Via Digital Warden App

Since April of last year, the city traffic police have issued more than four million digital challans totaling over Rs 1.75 million through the Digital Warden App, produced by the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB).


People have received fines in different regions of Punjab for driving the wrong way, not wearing helmets, and improper parking.

This was revealed at a meeting to monitor the progress that was presided over by PITB Chairman Faisal Yousaf.


According to a press statement that was published here on Tuesday, the meeting also included senior officials including PITB Additional Director General (ADG) Syed Qasim Ifzal.
