Afghan Customers Buying Motorcycles From Pakistan at Premium Prices

According to the Association of Pakistan Motorcycle Assemblers (APMA), Afghan clients are purchasing motorbikes from Pakistan at a premium price as a result of the Afghan government’s recent pronouncement that motorcyclists are now permitted on Afghan roads.

Honda CG 125cc motorcycles are in high demand, according to Pakistani motorcycle retailers, and as a result, prices have gone up. According to sources, Afghan buyers of the CG 125cc motorcycles are reportedly paying an additional 15,000 rupees on top of the official sale price.

These motorcycles cost about $1,000 each, and the local Afghan clients also purchase them in American currency. One of the most well-liked motorcycles in Pakistan is the Honda CG 125cc, which is produced with more than 90% local components. Due to the significant demand from Afghanistan, Atlas Honda, the firm that makes these motorcycles, has raised the retail cost of its goods.

The CG 125cc motorcycles’ revised costs vary from Rs 214,900 to Rs 255,900. Yamaha and Suzuki, two more well-known motorbike manufacturers in Pakistan, have both reported an upsurge in demand for their goods coming from Afghanistan.
