Saudi Arabia Announces 9,000 Electric Vehicles for Umrah Pilgrims and Granted Mosque Visitors Service

Elderly and disabled Umrah performers and pilgrims now have access to electric vehicles (EVs) around-the-clock from the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques, making it easier for them to conduct the necessary rituals.

More than 9,000 electric vehicles (EVs) are at the disposal of Grand Mosque visitors, and they can be reserved in advance through the Tanaqol (transport) smartphone application, which strives to provide pilgrims and Umrah performers with the best services possible.

The software facilitates the purchase of tickets, enables the pre-reservation of EVs, and eases congestion at the points of sale and delivery.
