Imran Khan Emerged as Most Popular Leader in Pakistan :Gallup Survey

According to a national survey done by Gallup Pakistan, Imran Khan, the head of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and a former prime minister, has emerged as the most well-liked leader in the nation with 61% of Pakistanis.


Nawaz Sharif, the leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), and Bilawal Bhutto, the party’s chairman and foreign minister, tied for second place in the Public Pulse Report survey, with 36% of Pakistanis having positive opinions of both.


In the first 20 days of February 2023, a survey was conducted with about 2,000 participants from urban and rural areas across all four provinces of Pakistan.

“Imran Khan seems to be the most positively rated politician, while opinion regarding Asif Ali Zardari is the least positive,” read the report. It stated that Imran Khan received a positive rating from 61% of the population, while 37% rated him negatively.

“29% of Punjab, 28% of Sindh, and 14% of K-P gave him a positive rating, the highest amongst the provinces for any politician.”
