SadaPay, Pakistani-Based Fintech Raises $7.2 Million in the Largest Seed Round of the Country

Sadapay was started by Brandon in the year 2019. It is a digital bank that is taking modern financial services to Pakistan, where 87 percent of the country’s 220 million citizens are unbanked formally.

Through digital technology and delightful customer experiences, SadayPay aims to remove the complexity of banking and simplify money. SadaPay has launched numberless debit card for seamless digital transactions, as reported last month.

Sadapay recently raised $7.2 million in Pakistan’s largest seed round. Recharge Capital, based in New York, led this seed round. Returning investors Kingsway Capital and Raptor Group are among the investors, asfintech angels such as Ualá founder Pierpaolo Barbieri, Ribbit Capital’s Brian McGrath, former General Catalyst partner Ilan Stern, and Valon Technologies’ founder Andrew Wang.
