The Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony announced that pilgrims may submit their Hajj applications from March 16 through March 31, 2023. The government has designated 14 banks to which the applications may be submitted.
In the first week of April, the names of the chosen pilgrims for this year’s Hajj will be revealed. If an applicant’s name is not on the list, the banks may be able to give them a refund within a week of the announcement.
Only 0.5% of the official Hajj quota will be reserved for pilgrims on the waiting list the authority creates for Hajj pilgrims. Applicants must have National Identity Cards and Pakistani Machine-Readable Passports that are both valid through December 26, 2023.
Applications for Hajj 2023 under the Government Hajj Scheme will be accepted through selected banks. Applicants are required to deposit PKR 50,000 along with their application, which should be submitted to the banks designated by the Ministry.

How To Apply:
To apply for the Government Hajj Scheme in Pakistan for Hajj 2023, please follow the instructions below:
- Fill out the application form and submit it on the due date.
- Write your machine-readable previous passport number or new receipt given for a new passport on the application form.
- Select the blue, green, or white category during the application form filling.
- Submit your health certificate along with the application form.
- Submit the application form to the designated banks.
