With the blessing of the UAE Federal Supreme Council, the UAE President, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has issued resolutions designating Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the country’s deputy prime minister and minister of the presidential court, as the country’s vice president, in addition to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the vice president and prime minister of the UAE and ruler of Dubai.
After managing the Presidential Court and the Ministry of Presidential Affairs, Sheikh Mansour was named Minister of Presidential Affairs in 2004.
He was appointed in 2006 to preside over the Ministerial Development Council, and in 2007, he presided over the Emirates Investment Authority.
He is also the chairman of the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development. He is a member of the Abu Dhabi Supreme Petroleum Council and sits on the boards of numerous investment institutions.
