In the years 2017–2018, Jinnah International Airport served 7,267,582 passengers, making it Pakistan’s busiest domestic and international airport.
It is named after Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the statesman and country of Pakistan’s founder, and is situated in Karachi, the country’s largest city, commercial capital, and capital of the Sindh province.
The Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) is in charge of running the airport, which acts as a hub for numerous private airlines as well as the country’s flag carrier, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA).
Karachi Airport was termed “the gateway to Asia” in the 1960s as PIA quickly rose to become one of the best airlines in the world.
