UN Offering 100+ Paid Internships with Stipend of PKR 200,000 for Pakistani Students

UN has announced an exciting opportunity for Pakistani students to gain valuable experience through their paid internship program. The program aims to provide young people with an opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals in a diverse range of fields, gaining practical experience and developing key skills for future employment.

Over 100 internships will be available, with successful applicants receiving a monthly stipend of PKR 200,000 to support their living expenses during the internship. The internships will be based in various UN agencies, including the World Health Organization, the United Nations Development Programme, and the United Nations Children’s Fund, among others.

Eligibility Criteria:

  1. Applicants must be Pakistani nationals.
  2. Applicants must have completed at least two years of undergraduate study and be currently enrolled in a university or have graduated within the last year.
  3. Applicants must be proficient in English, which is the working language of the United Nations.

Required Documents:

  1. Cover letter explaining why you are interested in the internship program and how you meet the eligibility criteria.
  2. Resume or Curriculum Vitae (CV) highlighting your academic and professional experiences.
  3. Academic transcripts or proof of enrollment in a university.
  4. Language proficiency certificate (if applicable).
  5. Two letters of recommendation from professors or employers who can attest to your abilities and character.
