‘Best White Ball Cricketer in Pakistan’ M.Amir Backs Shadab Khan

Shadab, 24 years old is one of Pakistan’s top fielders and serves as the vice-captain of the Green Shirts in the white-ball format.

He made a significant contribution to Pakistan at the 2022 World Cup in Australia by collecting 11 wickets and scoring 98 runs.

Following Shadab Khan’s inadequate performance in the recently ended PAK versus NZ T20I series, fast bowler Mohammad Amir has spoken out in favor of the all-rounder.

Since the T20 World Cup last year, Shadab has struggled, and his recent efforts in the T20I series against New Zealand have drawn harsh condemnation.

In the five-game series, Shadab only claimed three wickets, and in the decisive game, he missed an important catch that almost lost Pakistan the victory. In the 14th over, the all-rounder dropped Mark Chapman, who went on to produce the game-winning century and help the Kiwis tie the series 2-2.
