Finally speaking out about his batting position in ODI cricket, Mohammad Rizwan claims he is more at ease in the top-order positions. In a press conference, Rizwan said that although he would follow the captain’s and coach’s instructions, he would prefer to bat at number four rather than number five in the 50-over format.
“I have been making sacrifices for the past 15 or 16 years and haven’t once grumbled. We are prepared to follow the captain’s and coach’s instructions, Rizwan said. Regarding the upcoming season, Rizwan said that every game is important for the team and that in order for the team to advance, they must put the past behind them and concentrate on the present.
