Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is set to launch three new bus routes on 19 May. It aims to enhance the city’s bus network and improve connectivity with other mass transit systems, particularly the metro. Additionally, some existing routes will see improvements starting from the same day.
The first new route, Bus Route 51, will operate between Business Bay Metro Station and Al Khail Gate, with a frequency of every twenty minutes during peak hours. This service will enable commuters to travel conveniently between these locations.
The second route, Route SH1, will connect Sobha Realty Metro Station and Dubai Mall Metro Station at an interval of sixty minutes. This new route will offer commuters a reliable option for transportation between these prominent destinations.
The third addition, Route YM1, will facilitate travel between Yiwu Market and UAE Exchange Metro Station, with a frequency of one hour. This new service will cater to the needs of individuals commuting between these locations.
To further enhance the efficiency of the bus network, the RTA will redirect Route F47 to terminate at the Dubai Investment Park Metro Station. This modification aims to reduce travel time for passengers. Commuters heading to Dubai Investments Park should utilize the existing routes F51, F50, F50, F48, F48, and F46.
Moreover, Route 50 will undergo improvements to reduce journey duration at the Business Bay Metro Station. These enhancements will ensure a smoother and more time efficient experience for passengers using this route.
