European Country Plans to Set up Tractor and Electric Car Plant in Pakistan

Belarus and Pakistan are in talks to set up factories in Pakistan for producing tractors and electric vehicles (EVs). The Foreign Affairs Minister of Belarus, Sergei Aleinik, recently met with his Pakistani counterpart, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, on May 30 to discuss various matters, including expanding economic and commercial cooperation.

During the meeting, the ministers discussed the possibility of Belarusian companies venturing into sectors such as agriculture, mining, road construction equipment, pharmaceuticals, and wood processing goods. On the other hand, Belarus has expressed interest in Pakistani textiles, rice, fruits, medical instruments, leather goods, and sports equipment.

Aleinik emphasized that Belarus aims to establish a transparent and open dialogue with Pakistani businessmen across all industries. He believes that strengthening trade relations between Belarus and Pakistan could create new opportunities for both countries in different sectors, ultimately benefiting their respective economies.
