BRT Service Shutdown Averted in Peshawar

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Transport Department has cleared the dues to a private company, the risk of closure of Peshawar BRT has been averted.

The transport department made the payment after the private company threatened to shut down the BRT service if it did not pay by Wednesday.

The private company has also written a letter of thanks to the Transport Minister informing about the decision to continue the BRT service as before.

Earlier, the private transport company had announced the closure of PESHAWAR’s BRT bus service on June 7 due to delay in payment of dues.
