Sources claim that Ogra has suggested lowering the cost of petrol by 5 to 10 rupees a litre. The administration has received a summary of petroleum product pricing from OGRA.
According to sources, a proposal to lower the cost of diesel by Rs 10 per litre has also been made. Ogra asserts that fuel and diesel costs may also be held steady. Regarding the OGRA’s recommendations, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar will speak with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
According to sources, the final decision on petroleum product prices will be made today. The increased rates for fuel items will take effect after midnight for the following 15 days.
Keep in mind that the price of crude oil reached a high of $76.95 a barrel in the previous 14 days.
