“You Will See Me in Pakistan Team Very Soon and that’s My Belief. I have Been Dropped from the Team 8 Times, So I Know How it Feels”: Ahmed Shehzad

Ahmad Shahzad, a cricketer who has been left out of the Pakistan national team, has expressed his strong desire to return to the team soon. In a media interview, Shahzad, who has previously represented Pakistan in Tests, ODIs, and T20Is, spoke about his belief in hard work and his confidence in earning a place in the team once again.

“I have always believed in working hard, and I still do. I have confidence in my hard work, and I am sure that I will play for Pakistan again,” said the right-handed opening batter. He also mentioned his readiness to play and his eagerness to make a comeback to the Pakistan team as soon as possible.

Shahzad’s last match for Pakistan was in a T20I series against Sri Lanka in 2019, where he struggled and scored only 17 runs in the three-match series. When asked about his availability for various franchise leagues, Shahzad clarified that his main focus is on playing for his country.

He acknowledged that he may not be considered a power-hitter in high demand for international cricket leagues but expressed his commitment to playing for Pakistan and participating in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). He emphasized his dedication to improving his game and fitness for these opportunities.
