Sheikh Yousaf Bin Saeed has been chosen to deliver the sacred sermon on Arfa Day, which will be observed in June 2023 in the Islamic year 1444AH. This announcement was made by the Presidency of the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques in Saudi Arabia. Additionally, Sheikh Doctor Mehar Hamamd has been selected as the backup Imam.
Sheikh Yousaf Bin Saeed is a highly respected member of the “Veteran Scholars Councils” in Saudi Arabia. Previously, he held the position of a professor of faith and contemporary faiths at Imam Muhammad Bin Saud Islamic University. Throughout his career, Sheikh Yousaf has been involved in various significant roles, such as chairing symposiums on National Public Education, serving on committees related to research and academia, and delivering lectures at Imam Muhammad bin Saud Aziz Islamic University. He has also served as the secretary of the Ideology and Contemporary Faith department.
