YouTuber Nadir Ali received strong criticism after he asked Pakistani model and actor Sunita Marshall an inappropriate question about her religious choices.
Marshall, who belongs to a minority Christian community, advised her supporters not to bother the interviewer and asked interviewers in general to avoid asking personal questions like that in the future. During a podcast, Marshall clarified that she doesn’t face any pressure from her Muslim husband or in-laws to convert to Islam, and negative comments on social media don’t affect her.
Many people, including actor Nadia Afghan and model Mathira, expressed their disapproval and condemned Ali’s behavior in the incident.
