During a recent press conference, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, who leads the Pakistan Air Force, confirmed that Pakistani pilots are actively involved in training their Turkish counterparts. The announcement followed a meeting between Air Chief Marshal Sidhu and a delegation from Turkey, led by General Atilla Gülan, the Commander of the Turkish Air Force.
According to Defence Turkey, Pakistani pilots are providing training to Turkish aircrew on different types of aircraft, including trainers and fighters. Air Chief Marshal Sidhu also discussed Pakistan’s plans to modernize its air force by acquiring new equipment, improving infrastructure, and enhancing training programs.
He highlighted the strong strategic partnership between Pakistan and Turkey, based on their shared interests in regional peace, security, and stability.
