Large open spaces ‘Eid Musallahs’, and mosques in UAE will host the special Eid prayer on 28th June shortly after sunrise. Timings have been revealed for Dubai and Sharjah.

People celebrating Eid Al-Adha in Dubai will offer Eid prayer at 5:50 a.m. while residents of Sharjah will offer Eid prayers at 5:47 a.m. All the prayer spaces will remain open from Fajr time.

Muslims all across the UAE will observe the longest Eid Al-Adha festivities from 27th June to 2nd July, beginning from the holiest day of Arafat on Tuesday till Sunday.

Eid prayer consists of two raka’ah. The imam, during the first raka’ah, leads the worshippers in offering multiple takbirs and then recite Surah Fatiha. During the second raka’ah, multiple takbirs are recited. After Eid prayer, Imam gives a two-part sermon which holds due significance in Islam.

After the sermon, Muslims hug each other wishing them Happy Eid, and celebrate the joyous occasion with their families.
