The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque announced a live broadcast of the holiest Arafat Day Khutba in twenty different languages, fostering unity and inclusivity.
Urdu is also included among the 20 different languages. The sermon can be watched in Urdu through Manarat Al-Haramain, a digital platform developed as part of the project by Two Holy Mosques Custodian Project for translating sermons simultaneously and providing digital services to the public.
The most sought-after Khutba delivered on the Day of Arafat holds great significance and was delivered by Sheikh Yusuf bin Muhammad bin Saeed at Nimra Mosque today, 9th Dhu Al-Hijjah 1444 AH. The sermon began at 2:30 PM (Pakistani Time).
This great initiative allows people from diverse linguistic backgrounds to be able to understand the auspicious Khutba and revitalize the faith. The inclusion of Urdu with many other languages highlights Saudi Arabi’s efforts to ensure inclusivity and unity among Muslims, and spread the guidance provided in the sermon of Arafah.
