The Pakistani government is working to standardise electric vehicles (EV) in the local market, and MG appears to be ready.
A prominent stakeholder in MG, Javed Afridi, recently informed Khaleej Times that the automaker is planning to launch a dedicated line of Pakistan-assembled EVs in the near future.
Afridi went on to say that the MG HS plug-in hybrid will be introduced to the company’s range in Pakistan, and that both of these vehicles will pave the way for a significant paradigm change in the market, allowing MG to become a leader in Pakistan’s transition to electric vehicles.
