According to the General Authority for Statistics in Saudi Arabia, this year’s Hajj had a total of 1,845,045 pilgrims. Out of this number, 1,660,915 were people coming from different places, and 184,130 were citizens and residents of Saudi Arabia. Among all the pilgrims, there were 969,694 males and 875,351 females.
A Saudi newspaper has acknowledged an 11-month-old child, accompanied by their parents, as the youngest pilgrim of this year’s Hajj. Although we don’t know the nationality of the child, a video featuring the young pilgrim has gained a lot of attention on social media.
