Karachi to Lahore is Less than 10 Minutes? Startup Claims to Develop Hypersonic Jet that Fly 9 Times the Speed of Sound

Venus Aerospace, a company based in Houston, is working on an exciting aviation project called the Stargazer. This groundbreaking aircraft aims to achieve something extraordinary: it can fly at a speed nine times faster than the speed of sound, which is known as Mach 9. With its impressive size of 150 feet in length and 100 feet in width, the Stargazer plans to bring a revolution in global connectivity by flying at an incredible speed of 6,905 mph while cruising at a very high altitude of 170,000 feet.

Compared to previous supersonic jets like the Concorde and Lockheed SR-71 “Blackbird,” the Stargazer outperforms them in terms of speed and capabilities. It has a state-of-the-art design that includes a unique engine called a rotating-detonation engine. This engine spins at an astonishing rate of 20,000 rotations per second, enabling continuous supersonic combustion. This allows the Stargazer to maintain high speeds for a long duration.

If successfully developed, the Stargazer has the potential to revolutionize long-distance travel by offering unparalleled speed and efficiency. With its ability to reach Mach 9, this hypersonic aircraft could completely change the future of aviation and push the limits of high-speed transportation. For instance, it could significantly reduce travel time between cities like Karachi and Lahore to less than 10 minutes, completely transforming intercity connectivity.
