These Cities of Pakistan Likely to Receive ‘Heavy Rainfall’ from July 19 to 23

The meteorological department has forecasted more rainfall from 19th July to 23rd. The monsoon currents are predicted to cover eastern Sindh and then spread over the entire province.

Dusty thunderstorms and heavy rainfall are likely to appear from the evening of July 19th till 22nd / 23rd July in Tharparker, Khairpur, Mirpurkhas, Jacobabad, Umerkot, Sukkur, Sanghar, Larkana, Qambar Shahdadkot, Shikarpur, and Dadu & Jamshoro districts.

Thunderstorms with heavy rainfall in Karachi division is expected during 20th – 22nd July in Matiari, Kashmore, Thatta, Naushahro Feroz, Hyderabad, Ghotki, Tando Allahyar, Shaheed Benazirabad, Badin, Tando Muhammad Khan, and Sujawal districts.

In addition, heavy rainfall with thunderstorms is expected in Chitral, Mardan, Peshawar, Swabi, Buner and Shangla districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Baluchistan’s Barkhan, Zhob, and Lasbela districts and Multan and Dera Ghazi Khan from 19th July.

Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and Hazara districts are anticipated to experience monsoon rainfall from 18th July to 23rd.
