During the Pakistan Mineral Summit in Islamabad, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir invited foreign investors to discover the valuable minerals hidden in Pakistan. The event was attended by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and other officials.
General Asim Munir explained that Pakistan has many valuable minerals, and he encouraged everyone to help the country’s economy by exploring and using them. He mentioned the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), which brings everyone together to make it easier for local and foreign investors to do business in Pakistan.
The COAS emphasized that peace and prosperity are crucial for the country’s stability, and mineral projects are essential for progress. He also mentioned that the Holy Quran teaches that hard work and efforts are rewarded.
General Asim Munir appreciated Pakistan’s different landscapes, like mountains, deserts, and plains, and said that it’s a responsibility for all of us to contribute to the country’s economy.
During the summit, the COAS thanked foreign investors, including those from Saudi Arabia, for showing interest in investing in Pakistan’s minerals.
