Skardu will welcome the first-ever international flight from Dubai on 14th August 2023. Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) announced the commencement of international flights at the civil airport located in Gilgit-Baltistan, marking a significant achievement in the tourism sector.
The first flight will take off on Independence Day from Dubai to Skardu. The weekly flights will start on 19th August. The new route from Dubai to Skardu is the continuation of the airline’s aim to serve the community as a part of its social responsibility.
The initiative promotes a positive and impactful image of Pakistan in the tourism sector. The schedule released is the following.
