Sultan Al Neyadi, an astronaut from the UAE, took part in Pakistan’s Independence Day while being 400km above Earth. He shared a picture of Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan, which he took from the International Space Station on Monday.
Dr. Al Neyadi, who is almost finished with his six-month space journey, sent a message on social media to congratulate Pakistan. He mentioned Pakistan’s “rich culture” and wished a Happy Independence Day to all Pakistanis, especially those living in the UAE.
