Gulzar Ahmad, the Chief Justice of Pakistan has recently inaugurated the first commercial court of Pakistan at Lahore Judicial Complex.
The Chief Justice said that for the progress of the economy the commercial courts are very crucial in the country.
He further said that the establishment of this first commercial court in Lahore, Punjab was a revolutionary step; however, he congratulated MuhamÂmad Qasim Khan, the Lahore High Court Chief Justice, for this achievement.
According to the sources, he also said that the cases relating to the businesses are also needed to be decided without any further delay as they had an indirect impact on the overall economy of the country.
Moreover, the provincial government is following a process of consultation along with the LHC promulgated Punjab CoÂmmercial Courts OrdinÂance of 2021 right under the ease-of-doing business reform frameÂwork in order to establish these commercial courts.
