The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has said that it’s not possible to hold general elections in 90 days because the important process of dividing election areas needs about four months. This decision came after a meeting led by Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja.
The ECP is planning to do this process again for all of Pakistan’s voting areas, both for the National and provincial assemblies. This is connected to the seventh national census. They made a schedule for this process, and the final result will be ready by December 14. The ECP also asked political parties to share their financial details for 2022-23 by August 29.
