Chandrayaan-3’s Lander Vikram is getting ready to land near the Moon’s South Pole today, August 23, around 6:04 pm. India is about to make history, and there’s an interesting update about who owns parts of the moon. It turns out that both Shah Rukh Khan and the late Sushant Singh Rajput have a piece of land on the moon.
Shah Rukh Khan has a special area on the moon called the Sea of Tranquility, and it’s registered with the Lunar Registry. He didn’t buy it himself; someone from Australia who likes him a lot buys it for him every year on his birthday.
Shah Rukh Khan mentioned in an interview that he gets certificates from the Lunar Republic Society. This person writes colorful emails to him, and he feels really happy to know that so many people all around the world care about him.
