Saudi Arabia Launches Visa on Arrival For Umrah Pilgrims of these Countries

Saudi Arabia has launched a visa-on-arrival service for Umrah pilgrims from several countries, making it easier for them to enter the Kingdom. The new visa-on-arrival system allows pilgrims from eligible countries to enter the Kingdom through sea, air, or land routes. The list of eligible countries includes citizens of over 10 to 12 countries.

The new system is expected to streamline the visa application process and facilitate the entry of Umrah pilgrims into Saudi Arabia. Pilgrims arriving from the following countries are eligible to obtain visa-on-arrival;

  • United States
  • United Kingdom
  • European Union countries
  • Australia
  • New Zealand
  • Singapore
  • Malaysia
  • South Korea
  • Japan
  • Kazakhstan
  • Brunei
  • China

Saudi Arabia extended the length of the Umrah visa to 90 days earlier this month. More places in Makkah and Madinah would be made available to pilgrims, according to Saudi Arabia’s minister for the Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfiq Bin Fawzan Al Rabiah.
