Bagh-i-Jinnah became a focal point for aspiring computer scientists and IT enthusiasts eager to participate in the Bano Qabil 2.0 scholarship program. They were there to take an aptitude test organized by the Jamaat-i-Islami in collaboration with Al-Khidmat on a Sunday.
While various activities were happening at the same time, those who had signed up for the one-hour test were the first to find their seats. Some candidates had already completed the first phase of the program, Bano Qabil 1.0, and were patiently waiting for their graduation ceremony. Many attendees also came to showcase their projects.
The large number of people, estimated to be nearly one hundred thousand, raised concerns about conducting the tests on such a massive scale. As a result, many attendees were frustrated by the significant delay in starting the tests.
