The Pakistani rupee is getting stronger compared to the US dollar, which means that it’s becoming more valuable. Recently, it went up by Rs1.07 against the US dollar, and now it’s being traded at Rs284.65 in the official market.
Just a few days ago, the Pakistani rupee had also gone up by 0.36% against the US dollar. On Tuesday, it was at Rs285.72 after going up by Rs1.04. Over the past few weeks, the value of the US dollar has dropped by more than Rs20 in both the official and open markets. This happened because the government took steps to stop people who were hoarding or smuggling dollars.
