The Best International National Military Cadet award at the Royal Military College (RMC), Duntroon, Australia, has been awarded to a Pakistan Army cadet.
According to the official statement released by the DG ISPR, at the parade at the RMC Duntroon, Muhammad Haris Mairaj of the 141 Long Course was named the overall best foreign national military cadet.
Major General Babar Iftikhar, DG ISPR, added that it is a testament to the Pakistan Army’s highest training levels of dedicated and committed junior leadership.
A special memorial service was organized by RMC Duntroon last month to pay tribute to the martyred Pakistan Army soldier, Lieutenant Nasir Hussain, who was also a military college graduate.
To remember the services of Lt. Hussain to his country, members of Pakistan and Australian Armies laid floral wreaths on the RMC War Memorial.
On 3 September, Lt. Nasir Hussain was martyred in an IED blast in North Waziristan.
