A sad incident happened in Khanewal district when Asim Jameel, the son of Islamic scholar Maulana Tariq Jamil, lost his life due to a gunshot wound. This took place in Tulamba Tehsil.
Asim’s body was taken to Tulamba Hospital, and there are ongoing legal procedures.
The District Police Officer (DPO) of Khanewal, Rana Umar Farooq Salamat, confirmed that Asim Jamil was shot and had a bullet in his chest. He also mentioned that Asim’s nephew claimed that Asim was shot by himself.
