Actual Reason Behind Missing Pakistan Name on Asia Cup Shirts Revealed

According to reports, the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) decided not to include the host country’s name in the logo of the previous Asia Cup and this decision was agreed upon with the ACC. This same decision has been made for the upcoming Asia Cup as well.

Sources say that the reason for this decision was the different logos used last year, with “Sri Lanka 2022” and “UAE 2022” included in them. To make the logos consistent for everyone, only “Asia Cup” is now written in the logo, following last year’s decision.

The ACC wanted the logos to look the same for everyone and be easily recognized. As a result, the year and host country’s name are not part of the Asia Cup logo anymore.

This issue came up because Pakistan’s name was missing from the logo due to not hosting the tournament. This has led to strong criticism from Pakistani fans.
