Riyad Cristiano Ronaldo, Portugal’s star footballer, says he is happy in Saudi Arabia and hopes that other big names will join the teams in the next event. Ronaldo reportedly signed a two-year contract with Saudi club Al-Nasr in January of this year. He scored 14 goals in 16 matches during the Pro League season, but his team finished second in the league.
He stated that the Saudi league has very good teams, and that I am happy here and want to continue playing. By staying at the club, he has adapted to Saudi culture. We used to train in the morning and evening in Europe, but during Ramadan, we started at 10 a.m., which was unusual.
Following Ronaldo’s arrival in Saudi Arabia, several top names in football, including Lionel Messi and Karim Benzema, have expressed interest in the Saudi league.
Al-Hilal, Al-Nasr’s rival team, also announced that Messi would be offered a large sum of money to join their team, but it is unclear whether or not he will sign the contract.
