According to the official sources, recently Instagram has announced a set of features and policies to increase the security and reliability of the social media app. So, in order to limit the interaction between teenagers & adults and to protect young people on the platform, they made these polices.
As per the new feature, Instagram will now thwart adults from sending messages to under 18 people are not following them.
Instagram officials declared in a blog that “As we move to end-to-end encryption, we’re investing in features that protect privacy & keep people safe without accessing the content of DMs,”.
As per the sources, the famous social media platform is also about to use triggers or safety notifications, to inspire teens to be careful in while talking to the adults they are already following. Security notifications in DMs will inform young people when the adult who has been showing possibly suspect behavior is intermingling with them in DMs.
