Afghan’s Govt. Sign Deal With Russia to Buy Cheap Oil, Gas and Wheat

Government of Afghanistan has signed an agreement with Russia in order to have fuel and wheat at discounted prices as country is facing hard time to feed it’s nation and looking forward to lift up the regional trade a year after regaining power.

However, Abdul Salam Jawad Akhundzada, a representative of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry said goods like gasoline, diesel, gas and wheat would buy from Russia at a discount. Further he informed that preparations have already started and would start importing in a day or week.

Since, the new government has returned to power the agreement has been signed which includes million tons of petrol and diesel each while 1/2 million tons of liquefied petroleum gas, and 2 million tons of wheat to be imported on yearly basis until any specified date, he said.

Further, Moscow are also expected to have deal in the future.

Last month, Afghanistan’s Minister of Commerce and Industry Nooruddin Azizi have a visit to Russia for an agreement.
