Air Karachi to Cut Domestic Fares by 40% Using Chinese Aircraft

Air Karachi is getting ready to start its domestic flights soon, using passenger planes made in China. According to Chairman Hanif Gauhar, the goal is to make air travel more affordable for people across Pakistan. By using Chinese aircraft, the airline hopes to reduce ticket prices by up to 40%.

Hanif Gauhar explained that Chinese planes cost nearly half the price of Airbus or Boeing aircraft, which helps lower lease expenses. This major cost saving will allow the airline to offer cheaper fares to passengers.

In the beginning, experienced Chinese pilots will fly the planes, while Pakistani pilots will be trained to take over in the future. For this purpose, flight simulators and spare engines will also be brought in from China to support the training and operations.

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has responded positively to the plan. They have raised no objections and are ready to give official approval, making way for Air Karachi to launch its services soon.
