In Bangladesh, Pakistan’s High Commission said Islamabad had lifted all visa restrictions for Bangladeshi citizens as both countries agreed to enhance bilateral ties at all levels.
After a meeting between Siddiqui and Bangladesh’s Shahriar Alam, the statement said: “Pakistan has already removed all restrictions on Pakistani visas for Bangladeshi citizens. Both parties agreed to step up bilateral contacts at all levels.”
High Commissioner Imran Ahmed Siddiqui, speaking to the Anadolu Agency said that they were waiting for the same response from the Bangladeshi side. The restrictions on Pakistani nationals in Bangladesh are still in effect, and that is why I told the Minister of State that we have already lifted all the bars on our side,” he said.
