Another Country Grants Visa-Free Entry to Pakistanis

Pakistan and Bangladesh have agreed to allow visa-free travel for holders of diplomatic and official passports. The new arrangement aims to make it easier for government officials from both countries to visit each other for official duties and strengthen bilateral ties.

This decision was made during a recent high-level meeting in Dhaka, where Pakistan’s Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met his Bangladeshi counterpart, Jahangir Alam Chaudhry. The warm reception included an official guard of honour for the Pakistani minister on his arrival.

The two leaders discussed ways to improve collaboration on various issues, including better training for police forces and sharing expertise in maintaining internal security. They also exchanged views on tackling problems like terrorism, illegal drugs, and human trafficking.

As part of this new cooperation, a joint committee has been formed to make sure both countries stay connected and deliver on agreed plans. Pakistan’s Federal Interior Secretary Khurram Agha will lead the committee from Pakistan’s side.

In addition, a top-level Bangladeshi team will soon travel to Islamabad to see projects like the Safe City system and the National Police Academy. Officials hope this visit will open doors for new ideas to make cities safer and improve policing methods.

This visa-free entry for diplomatic and official passports marks another milestone in Pakistan’s efforts to build strong partnerships with its neighbours and promote smooth diplomatic movement.
