A mother on a flight from Seoul to San Francisco took proactive measures to address any potential inconvenience caused by her 4-month-old child. In order to preemptively apologize for any disruptions, she distributed over 200 small bags containing Korean candy, earplugs, and a note expressing her concerns.
Passenger Dave Corona shared pictures of the gesture on Facebook. The note stated that they were traveling to the U.S. to visit an aunt, and acknowledged the possibility of the baby crying or making noise during the 10-hour flight. It expressed the intention to remain quiet but couldn’t guarantee it, and requested understanding from fellow passengers.
