Pakistan’s IT Minister, Shaza Fatima Khawaja, has officially announced that Apple is finally entering the Pakistani market in December.
The tech giant will arrive through a partnership with Air Link, one of Pakistan’s major distributors and retailers of smartphones, smart TVs, and wearables.
Through this collaboration, Pakistan will see the launch of its first official Apple Store, a milestone that many consumers and industry experts have been waiting for.
Until now, Apple products in Pakistan were available only through unofficial resellers, which often created issues related to pricing, warranty, and after-sales support. With Apple’s official entry, customers will now be able to buy genuine devices directly and receive proper assistance for repairs, warranties, and technical queries.
This development is being viewed as a major boost for the country’s technology sector. It shows growing confidence from global tech companies in Pakistan’s market potential.
The official store will also help address long-standing complaints about counterfeit products and unregulated pricing, giving buyers a more secure and predictable shopping experience.
According to the minister, the first Apple Store will open next month, marking the beginning of a new chapter for tech retail in Pakistan.
Consumers will gain access to the full range of Apple products including iPhones, iPads, MacBooks, Apple Watches, and accessories all with authorized warranties.
Industry analysts believe this move will increase competition, encourage better customer service, and potentially lead to reduced price differences between Pakistan and international markets. It may also pave the way for Apple to introduce more services locally in the future.
