Muhammad Asad Raza recently graduated as an Electrical Engineer from Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology (GIKI) on the occasion of 26th convocation ceremony under the badge GIKI’22. Asad Raza hails from the Karachi slum of Khuda Ki Basti. His father is a fruit seller. Asad Raza completed his early education at The Citizens Foundation (TCF), a non-profit organization that helped him with all of his fundamental educational needs.
At that moment, Asad Raza expressed his gratitude to The Citizens Foundation (TCF) and stated that, “My father is a fruit seller. It would have been very difficult for me to study at a good school and college if it was not for TCF. I am grateful for the academic and financial support I have received from TCF throughout my journey that has made this triumph possible.”
Muhammad Asad Raza is a self-driven person who devotes his efforts to improving society. His skills of leadership, critical thinking and problem solving have served as a helpful hand in his success. He has been awarded with the GIKI Dean’s Honor Roll Award for four semesters. In addition to that, TCF College presented Asad Raza with the A.L.I.P.H. Award (Ardour, Leadership, Integrity, Perseverance, and Humility) in recognition of his outstanding achievement.
