Pakistan advanced to the Asian Hockey Champions Trophy semi-finals after defeating Bangladesh 6 -2.
In the last group match of the Asian Champions Trophy in Dhaka, Bangladesh outplayed Pakistan in the first quarter and even grabbed a one-goal lead in the 13th minute, but Pakistan’s Nadeem Ahmed equalised in the very next minute.
Pakistan launched multiple goal attacks in the second quarter, scoring three goals in a row.
The Pakistani side continued to attack and scored additional goals in the third quarter, while the host team managed to score a goal. Pakistan, on the other hand, won the match 2-6 at the end of the stipulated time and advanced to the semi-finals.
