ASP Shehrbano Naqvi Named First Pakistani Woman to Receive Asia 21 Next Generation Fellowship

ASP Shehrbano Naqvi has achieved a remarkable milestone by becoming the first woman police officer from Pakistan to be chosen for the well-known Asia Society 21 Next Generation Fellowship 2025.

This honour is a recognition of her courage, her dedication to bringing reforms in policing, and her continuous efforts to safeguard vulnerable communities.

Punjab Police officially announced her selection as part of the Class of 2025. Inspector General of Police Dr. Usman Anwar praised the achievement, describing it as a proud moment not only for the Punjab Police but also for the entire country.

The fellowship programme will take place in December in the Philippines. It will bring together 30 outstanding individuals from 27 different countries who have shown leadership and vision in their respective fields. Being included in this prestigious group is a strong acknowledgment of ASP Shehrbano Naqvi’s contributions and her growing role as a leader from Pakistan on an international platform.
